Subscribe to your timetable
Get any changes to the timetable sent straight to your digital calendar, such as Outlook.
Click the button to log in to TimeEdit. Select ‘Log in with SSO’ and enter your MauID in the form of an email address (ab1234@mau.se) and your password. You need MFA activated. Select 'Viewer' and the entry 'Student' or 'Police training student'.
Please note: If you are already using TimeEdit, for example at other university, you should log in via a different web browser.
Subscribe
When you subscribe to a timetable, it will be updated automatically whenever there are changes. You can also import a timetable, but in that case it will not be updated. We recommend subscription so that you always have the most up-to-date timetable possible in your calendar.
Important
Your system or app determines how often your calendar synchronises with TimeEdit. This can vary from programme to programme (Outlook, Gmail/Android, iOS) and the update may take up to 24 hours. The settings you choose in your calendar affect how bookings will work.
Subscribe to a timetable in Outlook
You can subscribe to your calendar in various apps, but as Outlook is the most common digital calendar, we’ll explain here how it works in Outlook.
- Start by finding the schedule you want to add to your digital calendar. Select ‘Subscribe’ from the menu in the top right-hand corner.
- You’ll get a subscription link, which you should copy into Outlook.
You’ll find the ‘Subscribe’ button in the top menu (1). Click it to generate a schedule link (2) to paste into your digital calendar.
- Go to the Start tab in your Outlook calendar.
- Select ‘Add calendar’, then ‘From the internet’.
- Paste the subscription link from TimEdit into the field.
On the Start tab (3) in Outlook, you can click to add a calendar (4). Select ‘From the Internet’ from the drop-down menu (5).
Remember to update your subscription
Your subscription will only retrieve and update timetable entries within the date range you have subscribed to, for example, a semester. To view the timetable for the next semester, you will need to create a new subscription for that period.
If you want to go back and look at an old timetable, you will notice that old timetable entries disappear from the calendar after a while.
