Course: What does your future look like?
This online course is designed to ease the transition into working life. Here, you will find tips on how to do things like:
- visualize and map your competences.
- set goals for the future.
- write a good application and perform well in a job interview.
Five tips for your job search
- Take the time to make a thorough assessment of your skills, knowledge and experience.
- Research potential employers and look at job advertisements in your field to find out what skills are in demand.
- Create a successful application. Tailoring your application to a specific role takes time, so start this process as early as possible.
- Build your professional network and create an attractive LinkedIn profile. Many recruiters use LinkedIn to look for staff, and many jobs are found through networking, so don't miss out on this opportunity.
- Prepare for the interview by thinking about how you want to present your skills, and what questions you want to ask the employer. This will help you to get the most out of the interview.
