Every year, the Malmö University’s Teaching Award is bestowed upon teachers or staff members who have demonstrated exceptional abilities in stimulating and supporting student learning. As a student at Malmö University, you can nominate candidates.

The nominees can be individual teachers or groups of teachers working collaboratively. It can also include other staff members involved in educational activities.

How are nominations evaluated?

The primary focus is on showing the teacher’s pedagogical strengths. The award goes to teachers who meet the criteria of being particularly good at “stimulating and supporting students’ learning, so that the learning objectives are met” and “establishing conditions for a good learning environment. This includes emphasizing positive interactions and actively involving students in the teaching process.”
