Current opportunities
Koc University Summer Research Programme
The Koc University Summer Research Program is a programme open to any graduate or undergraduate (doctoral) student. If you are interested in gaining research experience or want help to decide if you want to pursue graduate education or a professional research career. Koc University campus is located in Istanbul, Turkey.
Duration
The programme is at least seven weeks long, with flexible start and end dates that accommodates the needs of the academics and students involved. In your application, you will be asked to indicate with research project at KU that you are interested in, and if you are admitted you will be working closly with the academics connected to the project you are matched with. Programme will take place between July and August, however each project dates may vary depending on the project and the faculty member.
Costs
The Summer Research Programme at Koc University is free of charge. There may be limited housing options provided for students, but is not guaranteed.
Accepted applicants from Malmö University are eligible to apply for the UNIC Students Engaged in Research Fund.

UNIC Summer School: Migration, Diversity and Practical Engagement with Migrant Communities
UNIC Summer School “Migration, Diversity and Practical Engagement with Migrant Communities” hosted by the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Lodz, taking place 6–10 July, 2026. The Summer School is addressed to students interested in migration-related issues and in supporting migrant communities in social, cultural, communicative, and legal contexts. The programme combines academic reflection with practical, case-based learning in an international setting.
The Summer School “Migration, Diversity and Practical Engagement with Migrant Communities” is designed for students who:
- wish to deepen their knowledge of contemporary migration challenges and migrant protection frameworks
- intend to engage in academic, advisory, or practical work involving migrant communities
- are interested in developing intercultural communication skills and interdisciplinary cooperation in migration-related contexts
A total of 40 participants will be selected to take part in the Summer School. Participants will be admitted in the order in which applications are received.
The UNIC Summer School “Migration, Diversity and Practical Engagement with Migrant Communities” offers an intensive introduction to key issues in contemporary migration. Participants gain practical communication skills for working with foreigners and migrants in vulnerable situations, explore international standards protecting migrants’ rights, and learn about diversity management and multiculturalism in professional settings. The programme combines expert-led lectures and workshops, providing both theoretical insight and hands‑on perspectives on migration policy, social integration, and everyday support for migrant communities.
The organisers provide accommodation and some meals (breakfasts and lunches). Participation is free of charge for students in UNIC.
