Scan and copy
Scan or copy on Malmö University's printers. Scan to your home directory, email or cloud service.
Scan using University printers
Log in to any printer with your multicard.
- Press "Scan".
- Select "scan to home directory", "email" or a "cloud service".
You are allowed to send a scanned document of up to 150MB by email. Any larger documents should be scanned to your home directory.
Scan to your email
When you choose to scan and send to your email, the sender is "eduPrint@mau.se".
If the scanned file does not arrive in your email, check to see if the email has ended up in your spam folder. Your email provider may also have size restrictions for attachments, which may prevent the document from arriving.
Scan to your home directory
All students have a server space for secure storage. You can find your home directory under ‘M:’ when you are logged in with your computer identity on the University's computers.
To send your scanned document to your home directory:
- Select "Scan to home folder".
- The file will be saved as *scan_to_Desktop_ddmmyy_nnnnnn*.
From private devices, you can access your home directory (M:) via the web service access.mau.se.
Scan to a cloud service
You can scan to Dropbox or Google Drive but you will first need to connect your accounts. You can find more information when you are logged in to the PaperCut print portal, under the heading "Cloud scanning setup".
