TimeEdit – find schedule
Log in
Click the button to log in to TimeEdit. Select ‘Log in with SSO’ and enter your Malmö University login details (computer ID and password). Select 'Viewer' and the entry 'Student' or 'Police training student'.
Find schedule
In TimeEdit, you can search for schedules for courses, rooms, program, and more. In this example, we are searching for a programme schedule on the 'Text schedule' subpage. The same method can be used to search on other subpages and objects.
- Click on the 'Text schedule' link at the top of the student home page.
- Set the time period you want to view if it is different from the default, four weeks ahead. To expand the search, change the start and end dates. Click on the date you want to change in the calendar and select a new date.
- Select a category in the drop-down list. In the example, we choose to search for 'Course'.
- Enter a code or the name of what you are searching for. As you type, the search results will update in the results box.
- Hover over a search result to see more information. Select a search result by clicking it. Here, we searched for 'Omvårdnad med medicinsk vetenskap II' and selected the search result with a start date of Spring 2025.
- The search results are now displayed in the ‘My criteria’ box.
- Click on ‘Show schedule’ to view the schedule. If you have added multiple search results, a combined schedule for all items will be displayed.
Filter
Use 'Filter' on a schedule to quickly find what you need, such as a specific teacher's classes or all bookings in a particular room.
- Click on the 'Filter' button in the menu bar at the top right.
- In the filter menu, click on the category you want to filter by.
- Confirm your selection by clicking the 'Filter' button.
- The schedule is updated and now only shows bookings that match your filter. You can make your selection even more specific by adding items from multiple categories.
- Confirm your selection by clicking on Filter by at the bottom of the box. The schedule has been updated and now only shows bookings that match your filter.
Save your schedule as a favourite
To avoid having to repeat a search and filter every time, you can save it as a favourite.
Save as favourite
Once you have made a selection, click 'Save favourite' in the menu bar at the top right. Name the favourite in the pop-up box and click 'OK'.
Find favourite
Favourites are linked to the subpage you have made the selection on, and you can access them via that subpage.
- Go to the subpage. In the example, the shortcut was saved on the 'Text Schema' page.
- You can find your favourites in two different places::
- In search mode, under the 'Result' box
- By clicking on the page name in the link path at the top left
- In search mode, under the 'Result' box
- To delete a favourite, click the cross to the right of the favourite.
