Book group rooms and find your way around Campus
find your way around Campus
Book a group room. Use one of the available computers on campus. Report a fault in our premises. Find rooms with Mazemap.
Book a group room
Most group rooms can only be reserved for four hours in total, and two days in advance. At the Orkanen library, however, group rooms can be reserved for two hours and up to a week in advance. Bookings are made online.
Please note that Malmö University is changing its booking system. Group rooms can be booked in KronoX until 18 January and in TimeEdit from 19 January onwards. The date refers to the day you will be using the room, i.e. if you need the group room on 19 January and want to book in advance, you should still book in TimeEdit.
- Go to the booking webpage and log in using your computer identity.
- Click on the 'Resources' tab (or select Book group room, in TimeEdit) and select the building where you want to reserve a room.
- Bookings at the library must be confirmed, otherwise they will be cancelled. Confirm your booking 15 minutes before to 15 minutes after your period begins.
Equipment in reading rooms and group rooms
All rooms are equipped with HDMI cables. If you do not have a computer with an HDMI port, you will need an adapter.
Find computers
At the University, there are plenty of computers for students to use. You can find computers in computer rooms, open study spaces and libraries. Computer rooms can be used by students when they are not booked for teaching. To log in, use your computer identity.

Report faults in premises and rooms
In the Service Portal, you can report anything related to premises and rooms, especially faults and deficiencies. It could, for example, be a broken lamp, a problem with ventilation or heating, or a door that has become stuck. You can also report faults in IT equipment.
All University premises have stickers with QR codes. You can use them to report faults directly from your mobile phone.
Guidelines and regulations
There are codes of conduct which apply to both students and staff while on campus; these cover: the consumption of alcohol, food and drink; displaying posters; opening hours; recycling, and scooters. You should make yourself aware of these, and also what happens if the rules are broken.
