Meet cartoonist author Moa Romanova

Buff Soul is a graphic novel about friendship and grief, and about finding oneself in relation to others. When cartoonist Moa Romanova joins her rock star bestie on a U.S. tour, life quickly turns chaotic, as adolescent trauma begins to haunt her.

In a conversation with Moa Romanova and Gunnar Krantz, professor within the arts in Visual communication/drawing at Malmö University, they explore the book and the audience can ask questions.

Moa Romanova is a Swedish cartoonist, artist and illustrator. She made her debut with the autobiographical graphic novel Goblin Girl, which has been published in several languages. In 2020, she received the Swedish illustrators award “Kolla!” (Look!) for her debut novel. 2021 she was awarded the Eisner Award for the American edition of the book.
