Malmö University students most satisfied with housing, according to national survey

University of the year
Malmö University was recently awarded the Nöjd Studbo prize in the category ‘University of the Year. Malmö's municipal housing company MKB, which offers student housing in the city, won the prize in the category for companies which manage between 750 and 1500 accommodations.
“We are super excited about this award,” says Therese Löfgren, who is a housing advisor at the University. “But above all, we are extremely proud of our talented student employees. Without them, our tenants would not have felt so well taken care of in these tough times.
“This award is a confirmation that we are on the right track when it comes to developing what we offer in terms of student housing.”
The Nöjd Studbo prize is awarded every year and is based on a national survey which this year was sent to 22,500 students and which had a 63 per cent response rate.
Malmö University offers accommodations through University Housing. Tuition fee-paying students and exchange students are given priority, but all students are welcome to apply. The application period is open several times a year.
