Attached is information from the UK Embassy regarding Brexit. If you are a British student, please find out what pertains to you.

Letter to UK students

In general, British citizens who are not covered by a Withdrawal agreement or any other exemptions will need to pay tuition fees for education in Sweden after the end of the transition period (31 December 2020) starting the Spring Semester 2021.

British citizens who have been based in Sweden in accordance with European Union law before the end of the transition period are exempt. They can continue living in Sweden during and after the transition period, if they meet certain requirements and apply for residence status before the end of the application period (30 September 2021). For other British citizens, the same rules will apply as for other third-country nationals.

Current programme students enrolled at Malmö University have the right to complete their programme as a non-fee-paying student regardless, but if applying for Residence Status, we recommend to apply in good time.
